Lagrange Illinois new Chimney Repair with Concrete Chimney Crown
This is a recently completed project for a local bank branch in Lagrange Illinois. We removed a few damaged courses of brick at the top and rebuilt the chimney with a soldier course at the top. We did this to hide new brick we had to use. The new brick was a little off in color and size. The chimney mortar joints were ground out and we tuck pointed all the mortar joints on the chimney. We added a new concrete chimney crown at the top.
